Our Personal Recovery Assistants provide support for clients dealing with substance addiction and behavior disorders, including alcohol, prescription drugs, methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and opiate addiction, as well as eating disorders, sexual addiction, compulsive behaviors, gambling, depression and anxiety.

Personal Recovery Services

Working one-on-one, Hired Power's Personal Recovery Assistants help clients navigate challenging social and work situations. Many of our clients deal with addictive behaviors, including alcoholism, drug addiction, depression and eating disorders. Our in-home services help clients advance their recovery as they continue their professional, recreational and social lives.

Hired Power's Personal Recovery Assistants are trusted, in-home professionals who follow the treatment plans of treatment coordinators. Our staff includes individuals with varied backgrounds and experiences. Many are in active, long-term recovery, and are uniquely qualified to offer advice and support at critical emotional and behavioral junctures. Personal Recovery Assistants have undergone specialized training, thorough background checks, and are fully insured and bonded.

Whether a client requires support for a day, a week or around-the-clock assistance, we provide powerful tools for a successful recovery and a rewarding, productive life.

What is a PERSONAL RECOVERY ASSISTANT?

A Personal Recovery Assistant is:

  1. A link between traditional treatment and living in recovery.
  2. An ally for the Treatment Coordinator or professional in working with the Client in Recovery.
  3. A resource for individuals who have often undergone primary and extended treatment, are prone to relapse and need intensive support in their own living environment.

A Personal Recovery Assistant is NOT:

  1. A Sponsor
  2. A Live-in Therapist
  3. A "Sober Buddy"

Personal Recovery Assistants:

  1. Undergo an extensive background check
  2. National criminal search
  3. Medical evaluation
  4. Psychological profile
  5. Personal and professional reference checks
  6. Sex offender search
  7. CPR/First Aid Certified
  8. Have a minimum of five years active recovery or related professional experience
  9. Participate in ongoing professional training, including seminars by industry notables
